Naked, unprovoked moments of optimism are wonderful. Here's why I think, or rather know, that life can be moderately great at times....
1) waking up 15 minutes before you're supposed to be at work (when it takes you 20 to get there), but not realizing how late you are for a brief moment and lying in bed a bit longer: fantastic
2) having your place of employment not only understand, but expect for you not to do anything remotely productive on fridays: exceptional
3) strolling in half an hour late in beaters, jeans, tennies and no make-up, declaring your own casual friday, and no one noticing: awesome.
4) feeling the need to jog/skip every where you go: seriously, seriously awesome.
5) not remembering what you did/said/drank last night, and not caring: liberating.
6) going to lunch with lisa in 45 minutes and scheming up ways to talk her into making it liquid despite her current antibiotic regiment: great, but tricky
The end.
