I want to travel the world.
I want to go here and I want to go there.
I want to go everywhere.
As humans why do we limit ourselves to staying
in one location for two long? I was reading my friends writings today
and realized that by the time I'm her age I want to have accomplished
at least half as much as her. No jealousy, just admiration. She's been
to Venezuela, Cuba, Rome, Paris, Syria, etc., etc. I was like I think I
have a girl crush. Not only that she's a great photographer. I have to
thank her because she's one of the only people in which I like all the
pictures she takes of me. I must say she has an eye for beauty, wink
wink. Okay so enough about her traveling bits, she's also very
educated. After all she's getting her PhD at UNC.
I was like whoa...I finally have a tangible person I can actually look up to that is doing
what I want to do. Well what I mean when I say that is that she's
traveling the world and getting her education, like SERIOUS, education.
My mom doesn't understand what I mean when I tell her that I'm going to
be a lawyer but also want to be Dr. Arevalo. In her Salvadoran accent
she says " I thought you wanted to be a liar, I mean lawyer???" Can
someone please tell me the Spanish equivalent for doctorate? Well
moving on there are so many things I want to accomplish in life, which
I will undoubtley do, but I guess the question now is, when?
For those of you who aren't doing something in life I recommend that you do,
because I'm pretty sure in a couple of years its going to become uncool
to not be educated. At least I hope for my race, it does not. Till next
time take care. Remember that all the great people in the world had to
LEARN...education is key my friends.
